Luis Antonio – Director

Luis Antonio was born in Portugal and moved to London to work at Rockstar Games as an Environment and Character artist and later to Ubisoft in Canada as Lead Artist and eventually Art Director. Unfulfilled by the current state of the mainstream video games industry,  he joined Jonathan Blow to create the art for “The Witness”. Inspired by the indie community and the talent around him, he decided to learn how to program in order to create this project, an idea that he had for over 6 years.

Annapurna Interactive – Publisher

Annapurna Interactive is a subsidiary of Annapurna Pictures and a video game publisher. Titles published by the company include What Remains of Edith Finch, Donut County, Gorogoa, Florence, and Outer Wilds.

Mocap Now – Motion-Capture and Animation

Seasoned veterans of animation and motion capture in both video games and film. The team at Mocap Now has worked on some of the highest selling AAA games with companies such as Rockstar Games, Microsoft, 343 Industries, Sony Computer Entertainment America, as well as with film companies such as Weta Digital, Blur and Animal Logic. The team comes with industry experience bringing to the table past Academy Awards for visual effects on King Kong (2005) & Best Animated Film for Happy Feet (2007).

Environment Art

James Stout
James Stout is an artist from Port Hardy, BC, who’s worked with Capcom, Guerrilla, Ubisoft, and 2K Games. He lives in San Francisco and works with Thekla Inc. on a project following up The Witness.

Pablo Forsolloza
Having worked for several years producing and animating motion graphics for TV and advertising, Pablo Forsolloza is a 3d Artist born in Argentina who later found his passion for working in the game industry. His work can be seen adopting different styles in games like Risk Profile and Serena (graphic adventures), Doorways, Hellbound, and the upcoming horror adventure game Asylum.

Steve Green – Sound Design

Steve Green is a video games sound designer who has worked on such games as ABZÛ, What Remains of Edith Finch, Full Throttle: Remastered, and other well-received titles. He has a love for all things audio and video games and prides himself on learning the technical side of audio, ranging from audio implementation to his hand-designed studio monitors.

Neil Bones – Music Composer

Neil is an Ohio-born multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and music educator. He has nearly a decade of music teaching experience and has performed with organizations such as the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Metropolitan Chamber orchestra, and many other bands and ensembles throughout his music career. He now lives with his partner and his (too) many instruments in San Francisco.
